Born to Run...err jog

It's been forever again since a post so I figured I should get back on the wagon and let everyone know what's going on in my life. Things have been going great. I'm back to work full time and had my first clear MRI since surgery as mentioned in my last blog. I've been staying busy with work; between design and web work for multiple student events, regalia ordering for 1,800 students, and general work for my office I stay pretty busy. It's been great to be back at work full time and getting to see some of the students that helped me during my hospital stay is awesome.

Life away from work has been busy too. I've been hanging out with friends, eating at some great new places in Lubbock, and adopting a dog! Sketch was found by a vet in Abernathy and I was more than happy to give the cute little guy a home. He's 4 months and has a boat load of energy, but loves to snuggle!
Torchy's Tacos!! Delicious!

Sketch, my cute puppy!

Along with all that fun, I also signed up with friends and created a team, "Adios Oscar" for The Color Run which is coming to Lubbock on March 29th. We have decided to make the team super awesome by going with a Superheroes theme, including some awesome accessories. Since I spent so much time feeling like Batman after the surgery, I will be donning these bad boys for the run. I'll make sure to post some pictures of the team at the run. I can't wait to get to participate after having to skip the Color Me Rad run last October; guess having Oscar removed was a little more important.
I'm Batman!

My health is still doing great. I will have another MRI in a couple of months to check and make sure Oscar is gone for good and that my neck is staying stable. Still have some times when my neck/back is sore and when my sensation is a little off on my left side, but it keeps getting better. I will try to keep up with updates as things go along so everyone can know how it's going. Until next time...
